This board supports all LGA 775 for Intel Core 2 Quad/Core 2 Extreme/Core 2 Duo/Pentium XE/Pentium D/Pentium Dual Core/Pentium 4/Celeron/Celeron D, supporting Quad Core Kentsfield processors.

It is compatible with all FSB1333/1066/800/533mhz CPUs. Based on the 965P chipset with ICH8DH chipset, it is Intel Viiv Ready. The board supports dual Channel DDRII800/667/533 x 4 DIMM slots,with max. capacity up to 8GB. ATI CrossFire can be enabled on this board using the PCIe x16 + PCIe x4 slot. Asrock call its AGI Express slot.

In terms of features, this board comes with 6 SATA II ports supporting RAID 0,1,10,5 and intel matrix storage and hot plug. 1 x eSerial ATAII 3.0 Gb/s (shared with 1 SATAII port), support NCQ, AHCI and "Hot Plug" functions. The board also uses the Intel GbE PHY and Realtek ALC888 for HDA. There is also support of 1394 with VIA chip on board. The board supports XP media Centre edition and comes with overclocking options in the BIOS for those who are keen to boost the performance of the system.
